About The Leadenhall Building (The Cheesegrater)

The Leadenhall Building at 122 Leadenhall Street, designed by Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners, opened in July 2014. Its sloping wedge shape, which earned it the nickname the Cheesegrater, was designed to protect views of St Paul’s Cathedral from Fleet Street. It is 225 m tall. Bank, Monument and Aldgate stations are within a short walk. Its ground-floor public space, beneath the raised base of the tower, is open to passers-by.
