The Museum of Brands, on Lancaster Road in Notting Hill, displays thousands of everyday objects, from tins and packets to toys and magazines, arranged in a time tunnel from the Victorian era to the present. It is a fascinating and nostalgic look at how everyday life has changed. Ladbroke Grove station is a few minutes’ walk away, and Portobello Road is close by. Allow about an hour and a half; the café and garden are pleasant for a break.
