The Ritzy, run by Picturehouse, occupies an Edwardian cinema building on Brixton Oval in south London, with several screens showing new releases and independent films, and a busy café-bar upstairs. Brixton station on the Victoria line is a few minutes’ walk away, and Brixton Market, Electric Avenue and Brixton Village are close by. It makes a good evening out combined with dinner in one of the area’s many restaurants.
