The Roundhouse

About The Roundhouse
The Roundhouse was built in 1846–47 by the London & North Western Railway as an engine shed with a turntable, but served that purpose for only about a decade. After years as a warehouse and then lying empty, it reopened as a performing arts venue in the 1960s and is now a Grade II* listed concert and arts space. Its circular main hall hosts gigs, theatre, circus and festivals. Chalk Farm station is opposite, and Camden Market is five minutes’ walk.
