Crossrail Place, built over the Elizabeth line station at Canary Wharf, is topped by a roof garden beneath a timber lattice designed by Foster + Partners. Its plants come from regions around the world, arranged along the line of the dock. It is a quiet green escape among the towers, and there are restaurants and shops on the levels below.
