Neal’s Yard

Neal’s Yard is a small, hidden courtyard off Shorts Gardens, its walls and window boxes painted in bright colours. It grew from a 1970s wholefood movement and is still home to cafés, small shops and the Neal’s Yard Remedies shop, as well as a wine bar. It is busiest at lunchtime; come early for photographs. Covent Garden station is a few minutes’ walk away.
