ZSL London Zoo
In Regent’s Park

ZSL London Zoo, founded by the Zoological Society of London, opened in Regent’s Park in 1828 and to the public in 1847. Today it is home to animals from around the world, from tigers and gorillas to penguins, and supports the society’s conservation work. Book tickets online. Camden Town station is about fifteen minutes’ walk away, or walk along the Regent’s Canal. Allow most of a day for a full visit.
