Queen Mary’s Gardens fill the Inner Circle of the Regent’s Park, with formal rose beds, a lake with a small island and a rock garden. The rose garden, named after Queen Mary in the 1930s, holds thousands of roses in many varieties and is at its best in early summer, usually from late May to July. The Open Air Theatre is next to the gardens. Baker Street and Regent’s Park stations are about ten minutes’ walk away.
