Dukes Bar, in the Dukes London hotel off St James’s Street, is a small, quiet room of armchairs and oil paintings, where Martinis are made from a trolley beside your table. Ian Fleming, creator of James Bond, is said to have been a regular, and the bar serves its own version of the Vesper. The Martinis are strong, so the bar limits guests to two each. Smart dress is expected.
