Dukes London occupies a 19th-century building in a gaslit courtyard off St James’s Place. Its rooms are classic and comfortable, and its bar is famous for its Martinis. Green Park, Piccadilly and the shops of St James’s are all close by. Green Park station is a few minutes’ walk away. The hotel’s quiet setting makes it a peaceful base for exploring St James’s, Mayfair and the Royal Parks on foot, and Buckingham Palace is a short walk across Green Park.
