The Regent’s Park was laid out by John Nash in the early 19th century and is ringed by his white stucco terraces. Inside are Queen Mary’s Gardens with their roses, a boating lake, sports fields, the Open Air Theatre and London Zoo. To the north, across Prince Albert Road, Primrose Hill rises to one of the classic views of the London skyline.
