St. JOHN opened in 1994 in a former smokehouse near Smithfield Market, and its plain white rooms and plain-speaking British cooking changed how London eats. The menu changes daily but often includes the famous roast bone marrow and parsley salad, along with offal, game and seasonal vegetables; finish with warm madeleines baked to order. The bar serves wine, bread and small plates.
