Sloane Street runs south from Knightsbridge to Sloane Square, lined with luxury fashion flagships. From Sloane Square the King’s Road heads west through Chelsea; in the 1960s and 1970s it was at the heart of London fashion, from the mod boutiques to Vivienne Westwood and Malcolm McLaren’s shop at the World’s End. Today it mixes fashion and homeware with Duke of York Square and its weekend food market.
