Stanfords has supplied maps and travel books to explorers and travellers since 1853. Its shop on Mercer Walk, just off Long Acre, has maps of every kind, guidebooks, travel writing and globes, and staff who know their subject. It is a good place to plan the next trip or find a London map that will last. Covent Garden and Leicester Square stations are a short walk away.
