About Sondheim Theatre

The Sondheim Theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue opened in 1907 as the Queen’s Theatre and was renamed in 2019, after a major refurbishment, in honour of the composer Stephen Sondheim. It is one of the Delfont Mackintosh theatres and is known for long-running musicals; check what is playing on the official website. Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square stations are a few minutes’ walk away.
