Horse Guards and the Household Cavalry Museum

At Horse Guards on Whitehall, mounted troopers of the Household Cavalry stand sentry every day, and the daily guard change takes place on Horse Guards Parade behind. The Household Cavalry Museum tells the story of the regiments and looks into the working stables through a glass screen. Trooping the Colour is held on the parade ground each June for the King’s official birthday.
