Tower Bridge

Tower Bridge opened in 1894, its Gothic towers designed to sit in harmony with the Tower of London beside it. Inside, the Tower Bridge exhibition takes you up to the high-level walkways, with glass floors looking down onto the road and river, and into the Victorian engine rooms that once powered the lifting bascules. The bridge still opens for tall ships; lift times are published on the website.
