About The American Bar at The Savoy
The American Bar is one of London’s oldest cocktail bars, and generations of famous bartenders have worked here, among them Ada Coleman and Harry Craddock, author of The Savoy Cocktail Book. The cream and blue Art Deco room has a pianist in the evenings. It does not take bookings, so arrive early or expect to wait. Charing Cross and Embankment are the nearest stations. Smart dress is expected.
