The Trafalgar Tavern

The Trafalgar Tavern was built by the architect Joseph Kay and opened in 1837 on the river at Greenwich, next to the Old Royal Naval College. After closing in 1915 it served other uses, then reopened as a pub in 1965; it is Grade II listed and lies within the Maritime Greenwich World Heritage Site. Its tall windows look out over the Thames towards Canary Wharf. Greenwich Pier and Cutty Sark DLR station are both a short walk away.
