E5 Bakehouse
Sourdough under a railway arch
About E5 Bakehouse
E5 Bakehouse bakes its bread in a railway arch on Mentmore Terrace, beside London Fields station. Its sourdough uses traditional techniques and organic flour, and the café serves breakfast, lunch, cakes and coffee at simple wooden tables. Loaves come out of the ovens through the day, and the bakery also runs baking classes. London Fields park and Broadway Market are a few minutes’ walk away, so it combines well with a Saturday at the market.
