About GAIL’s, Hampstead High Street
GAIL’s grew out of a north London wholesale bakery and opened its first shop here, on Hampstead High Street, in 2005; there are now many GAIL’s bakeries across the country. This one sells sourdough loaves, pastries, cakes, sandwiches and coffee, with a few tables inside and out. Hampstead station is a few minutes’ walk up the hill. Pick up something to take on a walk across Hampstead Heath, or to eat before visiting Keats House or Burgh House.
