The Dorchester opened on Park Lane in 1931 and has been one of London’s great hotels ever since. Many rooms look over Hyde Park, and the long Promenade is a famous setting for afternoon tea. The restaurants include Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester. It is part of the Dorchester Collection. Hyde Park Corner and Marble Arch stations are both within walking distance. It still keeps much of its 1930s character.
