Clos Maggiore, on King Street a few steps from the piazza, takes its inspiration from the country inns of Provence. Its conservatory, roofed in glass and hung with blossom and fairy lights, with a fire in winter, is one of the most romantic rooms in London. The wine list is long and serious, and there are pre- and post-theatre menus. Covent Garden station is a short walk away.
