Jermyn Street, running parallel to Piccadilly, has been known for gentlemen’s shirtmakers and outfitters since the 19th century. Alongside them are Paxton & Whitfield, a cheesemonger since 1797, Floris, perfumers since 1730, and fine shoemakers. Look for the statue of the dandy Beau Brummell at the Piccadilly Arcade end. Green Park and Piccadilly Circus are the nearest stations, and Fortnum & Mason backs onto the street.
