Hay’s Galleria
A former wharf under glass

Hay’s Galleria was once Hay’s Wharf, where ships unloaded tea and other cargo. In the 1980s its dock was filled in and covered with a glass barrel-vaulted roof, creating a galleria of cafés, bars and shops on the Thames Path. At its centre stands The Navigators, a kinetic sculpture by David Kemp. London Bridge station is a few minutes’ walk away, and HMS Belfast is moored just downstream. It makes a pleasant stop on the riverside walk towards Tower Bridge.
