Lord’s, owned by Marylebone Cricket Club and known as the home of cricket, has been on its St John’s Wood site since 1814. Guided tours take you into the Victorian Pavilion and its Long Room, the dressing rooms and the futuristic Media Centre, and the MCC Museum holds the Ashes urn. In summer, Test matches and county games are played here; book tickets on lords.org.
