Abbey Road Studios, at 3 Abbey Road in St John’s Wood, has been a recording studio since 1931, and the Beatles recorded most of their music here. The zebra crossing outside appears on the cover of their 1969 album Abbey Road and is a place of pilgrimage. The studios are working and not open for general visits, but there is a shop next door. Abbey Road is a busy public road, so take photos with care for the traffic.
