The Boathouse is a modern pub on Putney Wharf, beside Putney Bridge, with big windows and a terrace looking over the Thames. It is a good stop on a Thames Path walk. Putney Bridge station is just across the bridge, and Putney station is a short walk away. It is especially busy on the day of the Boat Race and on sunny weekend afternoons, when the terrace fills up early.
