The Duke’s Head is a handsome Victorian pub in a Grade II listed building on Lower Richmond Road, right on the Putney Embankment. Its windows look across the Thames to the rowing clubs and the start of the Boat Race, and it serves food in the pub and dining room. Putney Bridge station on the District line is just across the river, and Putney station is a few minutes’ walk away.
