About The City Barge, Strand-on-the-Green
The City Barge is a historic pub on Strand-on-the-Green, a row of old houses, cottages and pubs along the Thames near Kew Bridge in Chiswick. The pub has riverside seating, a beer garden and a seasonal menu. At high tide the river laps against the walls of the towpath outside. Kew Bridge station is about five minutes’ walk, and Kew Gardens is just across the bridge, so it makes a good stop before or after a visit.
