The Connaught Bar, designed by David Collins in shades of silver, grey and pink, is one of the great hotel bars of London. Its signature is the Martini trolley: the bartender mixes your drink at the table, with a choice of gins, vermouths and house bitters. The bar does not take bookings for small groups, so arrive early in the evening to secure a seat.
