The Dove is a Grade II listed pub on Upper Mall, the riverside lane west of Hammersmith Bridge, run by Fuller’s. Its low-ceilinged rooms and small back terrace look over the Thames, and it is a classic stop on the Thames Path. The poet James Thomson is said to have stayed here. The pub serves food and Fuller’s beers. Ravenscourt Park and Hammersmith stations are both about fifteen minutes’ walk. On Boat Race day, the river outside is crowded.
