The Lamb, on Lamb’s Conduit Street, is one of Bloomsbury’s best-loved pubs, with a horseshoe bar ringed by Victorian “snob screens”, small swivelling etched-glass panels that let drinkers hide from the bar staff. It serves real ales and pub food, and the street outside is lined with independent shops. Russell Square and Holborn are the nearest stations.
