The Mayflower, on Rotherhithe Street, stands close to where the Mayflower set off in 1620 on the first stage of its voyage carrying the Pilgrim Fathers to America. The low-beamed pub has a wooden jetty over the Thames with views towards the City and Canary Wharf. Rotherhithe station on the Overground is a few minutes’ walk away.
