Konditor, the London cake bakery long known as Konditor & Cook, has a shop on Stoney Street at the edge of Borough Market. It sells cakes by the slice, brownies, biscuits and whole celebration cakes, along with coffee to take away. There is little room to sit, so most people take their cake into the market or down to the river. London Bridge station is a few minutes’ walk. The market is busiest on Saturdays; weekday mornings are calmer.
