Rosewood London occupies the former headquarters of the Pearl Assurance company, an Edwardian building on High Holborn completed in 1914 and entered through a grand carriage courtyard. Inside are a sweeping marble staircase, restaurants, Scarfes Bar with its caricatures by Gerald Scarfe, and a spa. Holborn station is a couple of minutes’ walk away, and Covent Garden and the British Museum are close. Its website lists the Holborn Dining Room, The Pie Room, Scarfes Bar, the Mirror Room and the Sense spa, with butler service.
