About Carnaby Street and Kingly Court
Carnaby Street became the heart of Swinging London in the 1960s, when its boutiques dressed the mods. Today the pedestrian streets around it mix fashion brands with independent shops, and Kingly Court, a courtyard on three floors, is packed with restaurants and bars. Look for the Carnaby arch over the street. Oxford Circus station is a short walk away. It is at its liveliest on Saturdays.
