The Photographers’ Gallery was the first public gallery in London devoted to photography, and its building on Ramillies Street hosts changing exhibitions across several floors. The basement bookshop has one of the best selections of photography books in the city, along with prints and cameras, and there is a café on the ground floor. Oxford Circus station is a short walk away.
