London Canal Museum
Canals and the ice trade

The London Canal Museum tells the story of the capital’s canals, the boats and the families who worked them, in a 19th-century warehouse built for the ice trade, complete with a huge ice well. It overlooks Battlebridge Basin on the Regent’s Canal, a short walk from King’s Cross St Pancras station. Check opening days before you go, as they are limited, and combine a visit with Coal Drops Yard and Granary Square nearby.
