The Old Ship stands on Upper Mall in Hammersmith, a little west of The Dove, with a large front terrace and an upstairs balcony overlooking the Thames. It is a popular spot to watch rowers on the river, and very busy on Boat Race day. The pub serves food through the day. Ravenscourt Park station is about ten minutes’ walk, and the Thames Path runs past the door towards Chiswick or back to Hammersmith Bridge.
