The Wolseley occupies a 1920s building on Piccadilly, built as a car showroom, with soaring black-and-gold interiors. It runs like a grand café from breakfast to dinner, with a menu of Viennese and European classics, from eggs Benedict to schnitzel, and afternoon tea. Breakfast is its most famous meal. Green Park station is next door, and The Ritz and Fortnum & Mason are a few steps along Piccadilly. Book ahead for breakfast and weekend tables.
