Seven Dials takes its name from the seven streets that meet at a sundial pillar, laid out in the 1690s. The streets around it, including Monmouth Street, Earlham Street and Shorts Gardens, are lined with independent boutiques, fashion and beauty brands, cafés and restaurants. Neal Street and Neal’s Yard are a few steps away. Covent Garden and Tottenham Court Road stations are a few minutes’ walk away.
