About Oxford Street
Oxford Street runs for more than a mile from Marble Arch to Tottenham Court Road. Oxford Circus divides it: the western half has Selfridges, John Lewis and many flagship fashion stores, while the eastern half leads to Tottenham Court Road. Bond Street and Tottenham Court Road stations, both on the Elizabeth line, are quicker alternatives to crowded Oxford Circus. Weekday mornings are the calmest time to shop.
